The 5 Worst Europop Songs/Videos Of 2010
This past year has brought so many awful, cheesy and downright horrific Europop videos, but I have chosen my top 5 for you, friends. So without further ado, here is a selective list of the five worst Europop videos of 2010.
#1 Gergana - "Facebook"
I take great pride in helping this video go a little bit viral worldwide last month after I sent Gergana's awful video for "Facebook" to a friend at popular U.S. website Techcrunch. The busty Bulgarian beauty's song is awful and the cheesy video is even worse.
#2 DJ Bobo - "Superstar"
DJ Bobo is a repeat offender on Europopped.com, but this clip is just so bad on an epic scale it makes my Top 5. What the hell is happening in this video? As I said in my June post: "Swiss Man Makes Worst Song Ever."
#3 Akustikrausch - "Ohrbassmus"
This video is worse than what a Saturday Night Live parody of what a German Eurodance video might look like. Really, Akustikrausch, is this the best you can do?
#4 Dries Roelvink - "Alleen Door Jou"
My ears still hurt and my eyes are still bleeding after watching (and posting) this horrible clip from Holland a few months ago. Unbelieveably, this song topped the pop charts in the Netherlands earlier this year.
#5 Cabron - "Letz Be Friends"
Romania created some of the best Europop videos of 2010, but the country is also responsible for some of the worst. This clip by Carbon, "Letz Be Friends," is laughably (yet fantastically) bad.
* A special honorable mention to Shacck for his epic Europop fail.
