Mista Debuts "Never Hide" Video

New Euro videos can "Never Hide" from europopped. Moments ago, Slovakian singer (who now lives in Prague) Mista unveiled her latest clip and it's yet another 1990's looking (and sounding) slice of Europop goodness. The Sony signed artist won me over last year with her epic "Rock It (United)" and now she hopes to generate the same excitement in 2012 with "Never Hide." This song is not quite as good as "Rock It," sadly, but it's still very strong for Slovakia and catchy enough to make an impact at radio. Have a look and listen below to an artist making waves in pop circles from Prague to Bratislava below.

Rytmus' Most Commercial Effort To Date

The Slovak king of pop has returned, and returned in a big way. Everything this rapper does is big, but this new single/video proves he is not only down with hip-hop heads, but also commercial in the same way Drake or other western artists now own pop and R&B charts in the U.S. "Nehladám" boasts a very commercial sound and will appeal to women as much as men (lets face it, most of Rytmus' fans now are likely guys). Great sounding song produced by "SuperStar O" off of Rytmus' hot-in-Slovakia and Czech Republic new disc Fenomen. Check out the just-dropped clip below.

Slovakia: Mária Čírová's "Na Dosah" Clip

Don't normally do pop ballads on this blog, but Mária Čírová's "Na Dosah" is an exception. This video, directed by Martin Hudák, is simply gorgeous. The song title translates to "To Reach" and it has something to do with a just launched romantic TV series in the Czech Republic called Joj Innocent. Noted makeup artistkou Veronica Vargová and fashion designer Zlatica Hujbertovou Poórová helped style the promo, which dropped a few days ago. I wrote about Mária before and I like her style. Check her latest below.

Dara Rolins' Outrageous New Clip (NSFW)

I've been torn about posting this new clip by Czech/Slovakian singer Dara Rolins for days because it features nudity and is generally NSFW/outrageous to the nth degree, but it has to be seen to be believed. I've written about Rolins before on this blog but I've never seen her like this, despite warnings that she was using sex to sell her latest disc via some rather racy TV commercials. Anyway, in this new video for "Fóbia" we see the singer half naked and extras in the clip engaed in all kinds of topless craziness. Oh also: doctors kissing each other. It's all a bit like a bad porn but it's fairly entertaining and worth watching (it certainly has the attention of anyone with You Tube in Prague this week).

Meet Michaella: Slovakia's Summer Singer

Just stumbled upon Slovak singer Michaella Papp and I'm in love with her sweet summer song "Chcem Letiet." The sexy Slovakian filmed this clip over the summer in Italy at Lido di Jesolo and it pops with beach love. The tune is by producer Vlad 'Randy' GNEP and the songwriter is Joseph Husovského. I don't think Michaella is huge in Slovakia (her website bio hasn't been updated since 2009 it seems) but she sure nails this song. Have a look and listen below. (h/t hudba)
