Romania: Inna Drops Spanish Language "Caliente" Video (Filmed In Costa Rica)
Guess who speaks Spanish and speaks it rather well? Romanian dance/pop diva Inna. The singer went to Costa Rica to film the video, where her and producers of the tune, Play & Win, also did a bit of writing. The singer told us exclusively earlier this year here in Los Angeles how she "loved" Costa Rica and her entire team were taken with the island's charms. Inna is becoming very popular in Mexico and all over South America, so this is her proverbial love letter to Spanish speaking fans. Check out the new today promo, shot on both the Caribbean and Pacific beaches, of Costa Rica. The video was directed by Edward Aninaru, her favorite photographer and the man who handled her last video, the wild "Wow." Cameo from Brazilian DJ (who used to sleep with Madonna) Jesus Luz as well in this clip.
Sex Soaked Romanian R&B: Alex Velea's Hot New "Cand Noaptea Vine" Clip
Sick of Chris Brown and Usher? Us too. Guess who's as good a singer and dancer as either of those guys? Romania's Alex Velea and he's just released a new video for his "Cand Noaptea Vine" (translates roughly to "when night comes"). No surprise that the excellent tune was produced by the team at Hahaha productions. A nice high quality track with a slick clip to match (watch all the way to the end see the best parts....hello, rain machine) with clever choreography and serious chemistry between Alex and the female lead in the promo. Directed by Iulian Moga and shot inside Castel Film Studios. Check it below....smooth and all class.
Romanian Rihanna? Andra Drops "What About Us" Video
Happy Monday, friends. Today, Romanian singer Andra dropped a video for one of the better R&B leaning pop songs out of Bucharest so far this year, "What About Us." The tune was written by Mihai Ristea (who did her last two singles, including "Telephone") and the video is by (or course) Iulian Moga (are there any other music video directors working in Romania?). Great song, great clip...shot at Buftea MediaPro Studios and in other places in and around Bucharest. A future Romanian Rihanna (the tune sure sounds a bit like recent Riri) perhaps?
Romania: Ruxandra Bar Drops "My Heart Is Bleeding" Video
Romania's Ruxandra Bar is back with a new single and clip, "My Heart Is Bleeding." The Adrian Sina protégé (he signed her to his label and produced this song) was most recently featured in Akcent's "Feelings On Fire" and she's being groomed to be a big star in Romania and beyond. This, her 2nd solo effort (after "Step Up"), is proof that she's off to a great start. Shooting, which lasted one day and one night, took place at Palace Snagov and was directed by Bucharest's busiest music video director, Iulian Moga. According to bestmusic.ro, "the artist is looking throughout the video and wanting to blame the reasons why the relationship of love final." Ruxandra said of the promo "I felt very good at shooting, although they were slightly more difficult moments. I mean, especially those that had to shoot out scene where I come barefoot." Elena Gheorghe Goes Geisha In New "Your Captain Tonight" Clip
God I love this woman. Today, Elena Gheorghe released her latest video for her hot single in Romania, "Your Captain Tonight," and it does not disappoint. The singer is among the top 5 most popular in Bucharest and she has yet another winner on her hands here with "Captain." Great clip as well, in which at one point we see the former Eurovision star (Gheorghe was elected to represent Romania in the Eurovision Song Contest 2009 with the song "The Balkan Girls," she didn't win but captured the attention of many outside Romania three years ago afterwards) is dressed up in full Geisha gear! Already the song below has charted in Slovakia and it's a fantastic follow up to two big singles for the star last year: "Hot Girls" and "Midnight Sun." Check her latest below.
