A Swedish Stereo Love Knockoff In Malta

This clip is actually from this summer but somehow I missed it. Stockholm-based club organizer, A&R man and DJ Dave Laroxx (obviously not his real name) went to Malta to film this 100% knockoff of Edward Maya's global smash "Stereo Love" and it's pretty good! No one on You Tube seems to get that Laroxx is Swedish (not Romanian) and may have done "Sunshine Love" as a test and/or joke, but it's so good it's turned out to be a minor viral hit. The video, directed by Mikael Eriksson, is very well done. Yes, the model is from Malta and yes, she's drop-dead gorgeous. Have a look at an under-the-radar tune virtually unknown in America.

Malta's Mad Eurovision Video: "One Life"

I promise this blog will not turn into an all Eurovsion blog, but there are just so many videos coming out lately from the competition. Today, more new videos have been released, including Senit's good "Stand By," but I like this offbeat song and clip by Malta's Glen Vella for "One Life." The tune is like a catchy 80s pop song or maybe a house track. And this released today clip is just so Euro and bizarre that I love it. Who are all these extras? What's up with the accordion guy? Why is everyone so happy? They must have free health care.
