Luxembourg's Best Band: Birdbones

Here's an interesting new song and video, "Every Single One Of Us," by Luxembourg's Birdbones. The band features a singer some of you might remember from a video I posted earlier this month by Superjams, Deborah Lehnen, but this track boasts a totally different flavor, yet I like it as well. And the just-released video is great...juxtaposing softly sung minor-key melodies with scenes that look straight out of a WTO or G8 riot by anarchists. The fact this band made such is a pro-looking clip on their own without the help of any label deserves high praise indeed. Check it out below. Excellent musicianship on this tune as well.

Luxembourg's Summer Anthem Arrives

Want to know what kids are jamming to this summer in Luxembourg? They're all cold kickin' it to Superjams. The act had a hit already this spring with "Besse Raven," which topped iTunes in tiny country (ok so it's barely a country, but still). Now, they have a new hit, and the video for "Lëtzebuerg" (feat. Deborah Lehnen) dropped last month, gaining tens of thousands of young viewers from this part of Europe. The chorus? "We are from Luxembourg/Where the sun shines at night/We are from Luxembourg/Crazy people in the shining light." Check it out below.
