Dutch/Japanese Singer Tao Hypah's Latest

It's not everyday you get to listen to music by a man who can claim both Dutch and Japanese roots. Tao Hypah lives in Amsterdam and has parents from Japan and the Netherlands. Yesterday he uploaded a great new song to You Tube (with a gritty low budget unofficial video) for "Play The Girl" and it shows a lot of promise. Tao hopes to represent Holland at the Eurovision song contest in 2012 because there is an open selection to participate ("Play The Girl" has been submitted). The track already has been played on at least one Dutch radio station and now we have visuals to go with the outstanding track, which sounds Swedish or Spanish and boasts the right pop sound for now all over the EU. Will someone sign this kid, and soon, please? Check it below.

Ich bin Ausländer: German Japanese Pop

Well this is strange, yet amazing. Torpedo Boyz, a bunch of Japanese guys, sing in German and recently released a great video filmed in Berlin this summer. "Ich bin Ausländer" is pretty catchy and make sure you watch until the end, when the lead singer wonders aloud if Germany likes him (in English). Awesome.
