"Handzup Motherfuckers!" Outrageous High Energy EU-Ready Video From Crystal Lake

Holy crap this is bizarre. Russian guys now living in Israel, Crystal Lake, must be on drugs, or something, because there is just way too much energy pulsing through this new single of theirs, simply called: "Handzup Motherfuckers." The song title refers to a hardstyle-influenced dance movement/genre in Germany which is alligned with the "shuffle" movement that has been exploding on You Tube in Europe (even LMFAO noticed as much and made a reference to it in their global smash "Party Rock Anthem" with the line "Every Day I'm Shuffling"). The “Shuffle” is a loose interpretation of the dance style known as Melbourne Shuffle, a rave and club dance that originated in the late 1980s in the underground rave music scene in Melbourne. Crystal Lake may now live in Israel, but it's Holland and Germany where they now have the most fans. I've written about this bizarre duo before and they are about as different as you can get from any American electronic music act....mostly due to the fact Crystal Lake have no shame! They just want to party and shuffle and make cheesy as fuck promo videos. Outrageous, bad and great all at once.

Bucharest Meets Tel Aviv in Tom Boxer, Morena & MeitalDeRazon's New NSFW Clip

Well it was only a matter of time before the clothes started to just come off completely in what has become a race in Romania for the sexiest videos that capture the most eyeballs. Before, we had plenty of scantily-clad women running around in pop clips, now we have full on topless in this new NSFW clip, "Voulez Vous." The track is by Bucharest's Tom Boxer, whom we've covered before on this blog. He's back with Morena, and this time there's a third (for a proper three way!) by the name of Meital de Razon. Meital lives in Israel and has a solo career as a dance/pop singer (check some of her clips here). Together with Tom this combo works out not too badly....good in parts a bit trashy in other parts. Check it.

Trashy German-Israeli Pop: Crystal Lake

Guess who's back? Our friends from Israel, Crystal Lake. The act has two new offerings this winter, one bad and one good. Let's start with the bad. "F.A.Q" is their latest collaboration with German producer Manian (behind top-selling outfits such as Cascada and R.I.O) and this song features a vocal hook so terrible it must be heard to be believed. It goes like this: "You say hello, fuck you!" Swear to God. Then, the guys rap lyrics that are just unreal in their awful-ness. The pair fare much better on their new remix of German DJ Bryce's "Nothing Can Hold Us Back." That song is actually good and their remix of it is an improvement on the original. Get your fix of trashy German/Israeli trancepop below.

An Israeli/Romanian Rihanna: Giulianna

Who likes Rihanna? If that's you, then pay attention to this new song and video by Giulianna called "Everybody." The song was written by prolific producer Adrian Sina and it really grows on you, just like recent worldwide smashes by Rihanna. Giulianna (real name Giulia Nahmany) was born in Israel but currently lives in Romania. She's not well-known in Romania or Israel....yet. This track coupled with her good looks might change that in the years to come. Check the new clip below.

France's Rihanna? Tal's "On Avance" Clip

Just caught this brand new clip by new Warner Music France artist Tal and it is awesome. "On Avance" is just about perfect and pretty sure we are seeing a star in the making here, thanks to this song. The 22-year-old is not just some pop star prop-up: she sings, plays guitar (self taught) and writes her own songs. Think she was actually born in Israel, as Tal means "morning dew" in her native language. One to watch! (h/t chartsinfrance)
