Mia Martina's Canadian/Romanian Pop

Wow! Not sure how I missed this, but just randomly stumbled upon Mia Martina on You Tube and I'm beyond impressed. Martina is becoming well known in Canada, but she's less well-known in the U.S. That seems set to change soon thanks to songs as great as what you'll see/hear below. The New Brunswick-bred beauty sang on a version of Edward Maya's "Stereo Love" last year, but more recently the singer released this fantastic song called "Latin Moon" which I can't stop listening to today. Additionally, the singer has a track on her released-in-August record Devotion, which features a track by Romania's Adrian Sina ("Go Crazy"). But "Latin Moon" sure sounds Romanian and it's just about the best song you'll hear today.

I was wondering when you were going to put this one up! It's quite popular here (near Toronto), everyone loves it. Crazy how fast the Romanian sound is traveling!

Yeah somehow i missed it. Also, though, I am really trying to only write about across the Atlantic acts on the blog. But the Romanian connection here is pretty tangible. :) Good to know the song is popular in Toronto.

the featuring with edward maya was kinda illegal as maya stated in many tabloids in romania.
There was an conflict between maya and his label, they allowed the featuring without his permission.

oh really I didn't know that. Well I can understand that because there was nothing wrong with the original version with Vika.
