Iconapop Drop "Nights Like This" Clip
First things first: Iconapop will become very popular next year in America (mark my words). The Swedish act first came on europopped's radar a few months ago via a friend in New York who sent a song, and I've been hooked ever since. In a very short amount of time, suddenly Iconapop is on America's collective hipster radar and with good reason -- this duo writes intriguing, risk-taking music on a scale few in pop are attempting at the moment. Speaking of risk taking, this brand new clip (by Sweden's Tim Erem) exemplifies the artistic leanings of Caroline Hjelt and Aino Jawo, who stop the video several times for bizarre interludes, and get away with it, because they are simply awesome. Their debut EP, also titled Nights Like This, drops 10/10 (today). Must watch clip below.
