Germany flips for fallen pop star

I loved Kim Wilde when I was younger. "Kids in America" was one of the better new wave hits of the 1980s (and her "Chequered Love" remains one of my favorite tunes of all time: see below for video). Now, the English singer has found fame in Germany, of all places. Here she is in a video with 80s German icon Nena from a few years ago. Last month, she released an album via a Columbia Deutschland/Sony and "Lights Down Low" is the first single from the disc (which has no UK or US release date as of yet). Forget big in Japan: Kim's big in Germany.
