"Epic sax guy" goes global

You remember Moldova's try at awesome at Eurovision this year, right? Suffice it to say, Sun Stroke Project & Olia Tira's "Run Away" didn't do very well. But now, 8 seconds (the 8 finest seconds in Europop history!) of the song lives on (via a seemingly unstoppable internet meme, naturally). Below, we have included the "epic sax guy" solo from the song that is taking off online this summer. There's now an 8-bit remix of the super sax sexiness. And don't forget the house remix by Sweden's Ozo. Epic Sax Guy (Serghei Stepanov) even has a Facebook fan page (20,000 "likes" and counting). Watch the endless loop of amazing below and try to resist. You can not. Best ever remix is here. Time to spread the saxophone.

This is such an interesting phenomenon. I'm thinking about writing some kind of article about it, but I don't think I have time to do all the research. I might write something shorter, less scientific, though, just for fun. :-)
